Metro Design USA was formed with the mission of
introducing and delivering new and unique proprietary consumer
products into the North American market. The guiding promises of
“Value… Innovation… Partnership…” define MetroDesign – a company that believes that even value-priced
products can be well-designed, have high-perceived value,
generate high POS turns, and deliver extraordinary margin to our
retailing partners.
Managed by senior
distribution / manufacturing / product-development / marketing
executives with decades of experience operating both large and
small enterprises, MetroDesign is uniquely positioned to best
take advantage of the changing economic environment. As
practitioners of “Lean Management,” the commitment on the part
of MetroDesign’s management is to keep expenses low, outsource
as much as practical, and pass the savings onto our clients and
ultimately the consumer.
Manufacturing is largely done overseas through a network of
nearly 50 factories. The product development cycle has been
condensed into a three-month rapid development process perfected
by MetroDesign. Product development efforts are ongoing with new
products introduced monthly. Sales and distribution are
orchestrated through our corporate offices with representation
in every major national retailer.
